REMINDER TO SCHOOL CORDINATORS

   We remind School Cordinators that part of their role is to report about studenst exchange in projects, specially if mentor in your school is a project leader.
   It is important to announce students exchange (saying: name o f common project, schools in co-operaton, names of students and mentors, who you visiting and date of visit). These basic informations you have to send to Nacional Team Leader of Students Exchange Natalija Šnidarić.
   After realized exchange of students, project leader makes a report about it. Scool Cordinator sends that report to Natalija. All reports will be read and sent to E-medica Leader Edin Kadić, and announced on official web site.

   We recommend for your reports:

  1. Name of common project
  2. Schools in co-operation
  3. Names of students and mentors in exchange and who they visit
  4. Time and date of students exchange
  5. Details of activities – content of visit and what were students doing, methods and actions, conclusions, future tasks and goals in common project and deadline.

   Also, include 2-3 major pictures in your report!

ALL REPORTS MUST BI SEND IN CROATIAN AND ENGLISH!

EXCHANGE STUDENTS
FRAMEWORK PROJECT PLAN

1. Purpose of the project

   Fostering creative collaboration of all actors in the Croatian medical schools to ensure successful adoption of vocational and other facilities, and the personal growth of each student and teacher involved in the project in the mutual exchange of the comparisons, the giving and receiving of knowledge, experiences and ideas, united in a common project E-medica.

 2. Project Objectives

  1. The development of community among the students and teachers of all schools participating through joint work on projects, teaching and socializing.
  2. Making new connections among students from different backgrounds to learn about tolerance and understanding.
  3. Involvement of all interested students and professors from Croatian or forign medical schools in the joint development of vocational content.
  4. Involving students and teachers in multimedia activities that are educational (mutual learning) and encourage them to share their knowledge and thoughts expressed in a visual way.
  5. A systematic study of the profession through research, exchange of ideas and the use of new ICTs.
  6. Development of communication skills.
  7. Development of proactivity.
  8. Inclusion of participants outside the school who can help the project.

 3. Project participants

  • Project Manager of E-medica
  • Head of student exchange project E-medica at Croatian, and abroad.
  • School coordinators reported
  • Leaders of exchange students in school
  • Interested students and valuable second and 3 class of all medical schools that have applied to the project
  • Teachers and leaders of the profession of student projects that would like to be exchanged
  • Other (homeroom, parents, principals, health professionals outside the school)

 4.  Activities

  1. Predict the exchange group of students (3-7 students) who will go to the exchange to another, related, medical school in the country. To begin the project envisages the exchange students from the third grade, and then the other classes.
  2. Students will spend 2-5 days with their host students, or in a boarding school, and with them to attend the entire class, general and vocational courses, especially vocational practice.
  3. Students reported jointly through the portal E-medica about working together and having fun at school and beyond, and about his impressions.
  4. After a few weeks, followed by the return visit.
  5. It would be desirable, but not necessary for students to work in exchange of some common occupational or other actions before or after the exchange.
  6. Groups of students to exchange can be homogeneous (one way) or heterogeneous (multi-directional).

 5. The division of tasks

  1. The main leader of the exchange collects data on all schools and their directions.
  2. Leaders exchanges involved schools register their school with a number of interested students and their directions or your coordinator or manager directly to the main student exchange project E​​-medica.
  3. When it can not, and need not imply you would like to go to school in the exchange.
  4. The main leader of the exchange puts the portal E-medica information about the school seeking partners to share, and help you find a partner school and puts them through the school head exchange, and helping to solve any problems.
  5. School leaders continue to exchange mutually agree in the details (dates, number and gender of students, transportation, housing, companion, funding, duration, activities), and shall report to the chief coordinator of the school and head exchanges.
  6. Students of both schools of water daily in various forms (written, photo, video, audio) of their joint activities and give them the coordinator of the school.
  7. Coordinator of the school publishes data on the exchange, and notes prepared by students at their schools link activities.
  8. The main leader of the exchange publishes data on completed, ongoing and planned exchanges on the menu of exchange.

  6. Project Funding

  1. Schools - especially in the first phase, the coordinators and trainers, student travel, escorts
  2. Local government - there is the possibility of seeking funding for extra-curricular activities?
  3. Mening from EU funds (with the project application)
  4. Sponsors / donors
 7. Expected Results

 

  • Expected to participate actively 10 -15 schools.
  • In one year, it is expected 12 -15 mutual exchange in which the total participated 70-200 students and 24-30 teachers who stayed in other areas 24-75 working days.
  • It is expected that each visit will be followed by detailed reports in eMedicine - mead, and will then be well and visited.
  • Expected to encourage the exchange of a number of joint vocational student projects, at least as much, and exchange.
  • It is expected that students and teachers who participated in a project to encourage as many others to join the project by transferring them to their delight.
  • It is expected that the project will turn into a regular program with your calendar and financing..
