High school students involved in the project E-medica, interested students from various schools for participating in the project.
 
Project Objectives: 
 
- Expand knowledge of the importance of physical activity in life as well as in physiotherapy/ rehabilitation itself
- Develop awareness of disease prevention caused by lack of physical activity
- Review of the professional articles on this topic, and the preparation of exercises that enhance the use of water, to improve the function of Locomorand cardiorespiratory system
- Get acquainted with all the benefits of water.
 
Tasks
 

- Explain what aerobic exercises are and how they are performed in water
- Highlight the importance of exercises in an aquatic medium
- Detect risk groups for injuries
- Show through exercises to prevent injuries caused by lack of physical activity
- Show and demonstrate exercises in the pool
- Emphasise the importance of group exercises and motivational factors that.

PROJECT GOAL:
- Expand knowledge of the importance of physical activity in life as well as in physiotherapy / rehabilitation itself
- Develop awareness of disease prevention caused by lack of physical activity
- Review of the professional articles on this topic, and the preparation of exercises that enhance the use of water, to improve the function of Locomorand cardiorespiratory system
- Get acquainted with all the benefits of water

SUMMARY
Aqua aerobics, also known as water aerobics, is the latest exercise principle accepted worldwide and includes music and physical activity. There is no need to swim in water for such a workout, and people with different physical fitness can participate, which is a great advantage of this activity. Training is safe and efficient, and provides good fun and feeling. Although it is similar to land-based aerobics, which focuses on heart training, water aerobics differs from adding a water resistance component to a floating component. Although heart rate does not increase as much as in terrestrial aerobics, the heart works just as hard and underwater exercise actually pumps more blood to the heart. Exercising in the water is not only aerobics, but also strength training oriented because of water resistance. Moving the body through the water creates a resistance that will activate the muscle groups. People who are not overly physically active will enjoy aqua aerobics, the obese people will benefit from its benefits because in an hour it is possible to lose up to 600 kcal, while the elderly will like the simplicity and ease of performance. Gravity in the water seems weaker, making us feel lighter and exercising easier and less strenuous, and hydrostatic pressure affects our movements. Exercise can be similar to typical aerobics and can be performed in various positions and choreographical figures, and it is also possible to perform muscle strengthening exercises. For proper exercise a person should be immersed in water temperatures between 20 and 25 º C, which gives a feeling of looseness of the muscles and leads to the elimination of muscular contraction. The whole bone-joint system is relieved, which is why this physical activity is recommended for people suffering from osteoporosis, with back and joint pain or high blood pressure.

Stage 1 ( March, April 2019.)
1. meeting with the school coordinator about concerning the project application at the 13th Review Days of E-medica
2. selection of the project name ''Aqua aerobics- Power of water''
3. working on the general project plan
4. the idea of the project is to:
- study diseases and injuries where physical activity in water is indicated and contraindicated
- foster a culture of exercise and recreation
- the theme of the project included as an integral part of teaching units vocational subjects
- stimulate students for individual conduction, analysis, comparison, decison making, problem solving, expressing opinion, discussion and project workmanship with the aim of educationg and preparing themselves for lifelong learning, advancement and professional reseach work.
- stimulate development of personal opinions and practise debating between the participants
- stimulate team work and cooperation
- present the project in a serious, interesting and educational way
- enhance interest for simultaneous study from various sources of knowledge with the aim of research, creation and realization of projects
- make reseach and learning interesting and entertaining
- stimulate and educate other students to become participants of similar projects
- comprehending and learning new facts
- enabling the production of on-line contents that are suitable for e-learning in the later phases of the project
- development of learning strategies and life skills
- peer education

Stage 2 (May/June 2019.)
1. Constant communication, additional education and monitoring of the project
2. Exchange of students' ideas within a certain school as to how to realize the project
3. Exchange of information, coordination and agreement concerning the way in which the project will be realized among the school participants
4. Defining the activities of certain schools and agreement on the dates that need to be met
5. The beginning of students' activities on the project
6. Participating at net-meetings
7. Supervising the realization of the project, analysing the work that has been done, noticing problems and risks, solving problems and constant coordination and cooperation with vocational supervisors and school coordinators, as well as the project manager of E-medica

Stage 3 (September,October,November, December 2019.)
1. Analysis of the work done, evaluation of the 1st and 2nd phases
2. Planning the upgrading of the project
3. Communication between the school participants by means of net meetings
4. Planning the exchange of one or two students (one in every school participant) with the aim of analysing the work that has been done as well as agreeing upon further steps that need to be taken for the realization of the project, in order for the students to get to know each other better and for informal socialising
5. Agreeing on the way in which the project will be presented, which was the result of team work of the school participants
6. Practising presenting the project
7. Unifying the activities in one single project with a division of tasks
8. Recording and documenting

Stage 4 (January, Februaury 2020.)
1. Finishing the realization of the project
2. Communication between the school participants by means of net meetings
3. Monitoring the finishing dates and sending completed projects
