Target Group: 
 
Student of medical schools.
 
Project Objectives: 
 
The objective of the project is to compare knowlege and opinions obout chronic wounds between students of medical school.
Interdisciplinary connection of vocational subjects and general educational subjects.
Stimulate students for individual conduction, analysis, comparison, decison making, problem solving, expressing opinion, discussion, making of presentation with the aim of educating and preparing themselves for life long learning, advancement and professional research work.
Stimulate team work and cooperation among the students.
Enhance interest for simultaneous study from various sources of knowledge with the aim of creation and realization of project.
Comprehending and learning new facts.
Development of learning strategies and life skills.
Peer education.
 
Tasks
 

The task is to compare the knowledge and opinion about chronic wounds between students of medical schools.
Study the historical development of care for chronic wounds.
Study skin anatomy and wound healing mechanism.
Explain difficulties in wound healing.
Explain prevention, diagnosis and treatment of chronic wounds.
Explain typical and atypical chronic wounds..
Carry out a questionnaire of attitudes and knowledge about chronic wounds among students of medical school.
Process the received data
Agreeing on the presentation style
Student exchange and joint workshops.
Presenting the work.

 

Collaborators:  Teachers in schools in which the poll will be conducted.
 
Place of implementation:  Medical scools in the cities of leader ans associates in the project
 
Duration (phases):  A year. The first phase is the implementation of the survey, the second comparison of the results and the third phase is the production of a presentation in which we will present the results of the survey and the conclusion
 
Expected Results:  We expect that students of medical school show high level of knowledge ond positive attitudes about chronic wounds.
 
Risk Factors:

Technical difficulties n carrying out research in the project. Lack of financial support.
