Synopsis of project "The Importance Of EQ In The Work Of Healthcare Professionals"   Synopsis of project "The Importance Of EQ In The Work Of Healthcare Professionals" Minimize

PROJECT GOAL:
Emotional intelligence represents the ability and the skills to recognize, and manage your own and other emotions.
The core of emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize what someone else feels.
In healthcare we meet everyday with other people, primarily with patients but also with colleagues and associates, we work together to solve problems, cooperate, and all this would not be possible without good communication.
Emotional intelligence is something that greatly helps us to understand others, their emotions and behaviors, and thus improves our communication with others.
Enhancing emotional intelligence would mean better understanding of other people, their needs, which is essential to working with people.
The idea of a project is to better understand the very concept of emotional intelligence as a relatively new concept as opposed to well-known rational intelligence (IQ).
The aim is to encourage students to think about their own emotional intelligence, to draw conclusions on the impact of emotional intelligence on the work of healthcare professionals with patients, analyze the possibilities and ways of improving one's own emotional intelligence, discuss and develop a critical thinking on the subject of the project.
The purpose of the project's joint work is to develop communication skills within a team based on mutual respect and respect for all participants, presenting attitudes and developing the project for the purpose of educating and improving their own work-related compensation in the workplace using the acquired knowledge and skills to achieve it.

PROJECT TASKS:
- The term EQ
- to explore differences in the kinds of intelligence
- The importance of EQ in mutual communication and understanding of other needs
- How to improve the EQ
- Organize a joint workshop to improve your own emotional literacy
Participants' schools prepare and conduct an anonymous questionnaire for the target group - health professionals, middle school nurses / general nursing technicians who will gain insight into their understanding of the concept of emotional intelligence as well as the potential impact of EQ in working with users, better understanding the needs of the user and the impact on the job satisfaction
The results obtained will be shared by students and analyzed, exchanged using ICT tools and presented at the 13th E - Medica 2020 seminar.
