Tino Pili, School for Nurses Vrapče

Former knowledge
We are aware that there are conditions such as stroke and heart attack that surround us daily. We know that the heart and brain are our vital organs and that the prevention of the diseases of the bloodstream and the neurological system is crucial. We are aware of the fact that in the Republic of Croatia a very small number of people are able to provide adequate first aid in such situations and that we should work to raise awareness among citizens to help each other and to ourselves.

The project goal
With this project, we will learn how to recognize and respond properly, how to provide first aid. We will find out what are the prerequisites and risk factors for those conditions. With this project, we want people to get closer to saving life in stroke and heart attack.

Work concept and methodological procedures
In collaboration with other schools we will discuss the facts that are known to us before and after the research of literature. We will conduct the survey through the most populous population from which we will get the data that will direct us and show us critical points. Through this project, we will raise awareness of the conditions that surround us daily.
