Target Group:  
 
- Student participants in project
- Volunteers – who like to help at work with animals and people
 
Objectives of the project: 
 
To become aware of the concept of Hippo therapy, its forms, meaning, proposal and novelty; the history of Hippo therapy; terminology of Hippo therapy; therapeutic horse; practical presentation of Hippo therapy;
 
Tasks:  
 
- Students represent the Hippo therapy;
- Students explain its forms, meaning, proposal and novelty;
- Students represent briefly the history of Hippo therapy;
- Students represent the terminology of Hippo therapy and therapeutic horse;
- Students represent briefly the education for Hippo therapy;
- Students represent different collaborations;
- Students’ practical demonstration (video clip).
 
Collaborators: 
 
Everyone registered in project (Na Konju si – Center for Hippo therapy, Mojca Smonkar – physiotherapist)
 
Place of implementation: 
 
At cooperating schools.

Expected results:
 
- To become aware of the concept of Hippo therapy, its forms, meaning, proposal and novelty;
- Students represent briefly the history of Hippo therapy;
- Students know how to represent the Hippo therapy and interpret its terminology;
- Students like to work with animals (they know how to connect the therapy to animals; they can also list another therapies)
- Prepare a Hippo therapy brochure;
- Make a Hippo therapy video clip;
- Continuing the cooperation with Na Konju si – Center for Hippo therapy and SZKŠ Maribor
 
Risk Factors:  Insufficient funds, small number of participating students and schools.
