Target Group: 
 
The patient with secretory stoma.
Project Objectives:  Learn about hospital treatment of patient with stoma and life at home.
 
Tasks: 
 
  1. Know the risk factors for intestinal disorders.
  2. Examination surgery on the intestine.
  3. Examples of good practice (hospital treatment of a patient).
  4. The role of enterostomal therapist.
  5. The implementation of interviews (patients' experience).
Collaborators: 
 

General and teaching hospital Celje (the department for abdominal surgery), enterostomal therapist, rehabilitated patient in home care, the president of association Ilko.

Place of implementation: 
 
Cities of participating schools for nursing.
The use of e-technology.
 
Duration (phases):
 
2 years.
 
Expected Results: 
 
Students will become familiar with the surgical procedure, the treatment of a patient with stoma, about the role of enterostomal therapist and learn about the life with stoma.
