Target Group: 
 
Students from the schools included. Children at the age of 8.
  
Project Objectives: 
 
To point out the importance od oral health and possibility of keeping the good oral health throughout the whole life if using appropriate measures.
To influence on the improvement of mouth and teeth health with the children at the age of 8 and to create the habit of correct hygiene preservation and applying unnecessary measures to keep the oral health good.
To contribute to a bigger number of people with good-conditioned oral health.
To motivate the decision makers to support measures of the population’s oral health improvement as well as the society sectors to support the mutual actions which have a goal of oral health promotion.
  
Tasks: 
 
To form the teams of stomatology experts and students of schools included, who shall prepare the activites for the purposes of recording oral health status as well as educational activities.
To set up the cooporation with primary school and announcement of the project activities.
To record the oral health status and keeping the records.
To organize the workshops with the topic of oral health in the selected primary schools and the cities of schools included.
To elaborate the information and result analysis of oral health status with children at the age of 8.
To promote the project activities within the municipality.
 
Collaborators:  The students of Dental assisstant educational department as well as the students of general nurse program of Medicine secondary school in Zadar.
 
Place of implementation:  Schools included and selected primary school within the municipality. 
 
Duration (phases):  During the 2017/18 school year
- The selection of partner school on the project (June 2017)
- Giving assignments among schools (June, August 2017)
- Working on the project-activities (September, October, 2017)
- The realization of educational workshops (November, December 2018)
-Processing the results (January, February 2018)
- Final activities and project presentation work (March, April, May 2018)
 
Expected Results:  We expect to have a bigger number of children with good oral health.
We expect from trained children to apply the techniques of oral health prevention and therefore contribute to preservation of oral health.
Also, we expect more institutions within the muicipality to be involved due to the fact that they can significantly cotribute to oral health preservation as well as to affect within the system.j
We shall measure the success of the project based on the number of trained children who shall pass the course of Oral Health Prevention.
 
Risk Factors:

Certain number of trained children shall not apply the techniques of oral health prevention and therefore shall not contribute to their oral health preservation.
