Target Group: 
Highschool students.
Project Objectives: 
The objective of the project is to compare knowlege and opinions obout vaccination between students of medical school and other schools.
Interdisciplinary connection of vocational subjects and general educational subjects.
Stimulate students for individual conduction, analysis, comparison, decison making, problem solving, expressing opinion, discussion, making of presentation with the aim of educating and preparing themselves for life long learning, advancement and professional research work.
Stimulate team work and cooperation among the students.
Enhance interest for simultaneous study from various sources of knowledge with the aim of creation and realization of project.
Comprehending and learning new facts.
Development of learning strategies and life skills.
Peer education.

The task is to compare the knowledge and opinion about vaccination between students of medical schools and other, non – medical schools.
Study the development of vaccination through history.
Study infectious diseases that are represented in the vaccination calendar
Explain the mechanism of action of the vaccine
Explain the positive effects of vaccination on the general population
Explain the most common side effects of vaccination.
Carry out a questionnaire of attitudes and knowledge about vaccination among high school students
Process the received data
Agreeing on the presentation style
Student exchange and joint workshops.

   The idea about the project is inspired by public debates on the mandatory vaccination calendar, or the more loud claims of certain groups of people point out the damaging effects of vaccination on children.
   An increasing number of parents, despite the risk of prosecution and punishment, refuse vaccination for their children, despite the risk of becoming infected with infectious diseases with potentially serious consequences for the health and life of children. Our aim is find out through the questionnaire is there a difference between the knowledge and opinions the students of medical and other schools.
   With the implementation of this project our aim is to achieve interdisciplinary connection between vocational subjects and general educational subjects (history, ethics, psychology, and vocational subject), as well as to stimulate students for individual work in all phases of the project, designing the project, studying from various sources of knowledge, creation and implementation of the questionnaire, processing the data and making of presentation.

STAGE 1 ( March / April 2018)
a) meeting with the school coordinator Tanja Serdarevic concerning the project
b) application selection of the project name ''Vaccination – yes or no''
c) working on the general project plan
d) the idea of the project is to:
  • follow up the historical development of vaccination
  • study the infectious diseases against which children are vaccinated within the mandatory vaccination calendar and the positive and negative effects of vaccination
  • conduct a questionnaire about the opinions and knowledge of the high school students about the vaccination
  • make an interdisciplinary connection between the vocational subjects and the general educational subjects
  • stimulate team work and cooperation
  • encourage the students to use various sources of knowledge
  • incorporate the project topic as in integral part of the syllabus of the vocational subjects and the general educational subjects
  • stimulate students for individual project management, analysis of the data, comparison, expressing opinion, discussion and project workmanship with the aim of educationg and preparing themselves for lifelong learning, advancement and professional reseach work
  • timulate development of personal opinions and practise debating between the participants
  • present the project in a serious, interesting and educational way
  • make reseach and learning interesting and entertaining

e) informing the students and teachers of medical high schools

STAGE 2 (May/June 2018)
a) constant communication, additional education and monitoring of the project
b) exchange of students' ideas within a certain school as to how to realize the project
c) exchange of information, coordination and agreement concerning the way in which the project will be realized among the school participants
d) defining the activities of certain schools and agreement on the dates that need to be met
e) the beginning of students' activities on the project
f) supervising the realization of the project, analysing the work that has been done,
g) cooperation with vocational supervisors and school coordinators, as well as the project manager of E-medica
h) recording and documenting

STAGE 3 (September / October / November 2018)
a) analysis of the work done, evaluation of the 1st and 2nd phases
b) communication between the school participants by means of net meetings
c) planning the exchange of one or two students with the aim of analysing the work that has been done as well as agreeing upon further steps that need to be taken for the realization of the project, in order for the students to get to know each other better and for informal socialising
d) agreeing on the way in which the project will be presented, which was the result of team work of the school participants
e) practising presenting the project
f) unifying the activities in one single project with a division of tasks
g) recording and documenting

STAGE 4 (January, Februaury 2019)
a) finishing the realization of the project
b) communication between the school participants by means of net meeting
c) monitoring the finishing dates and sending completed projects
d) application of participants

Stage 5 (March 2019)
a) participating at the 12th Days of E-medica

    On September the 8th, 2018. students of Medical school Šibenik Petar Uroda, Gabrijela Jovančević and Anamaria Jakelić came to Medical school Ante Kuzmanića Zadar with their mentor Nenad Kerić. They were welcomed by students Petra Bralić, Nikola Žilić, Lorena Balen and Lorena Lulić, national leader of E-medica project Edin Kadić, school coordinator Tanja Serdarević, mentor in project "Vaccination – Yes Or No" Jelena Kevrić and mentor in project "Biological Terrorism" Danijela Kovačević.

   After complimentary speaches and initiatory company, we went for school sightseeing and then worked on projects during which two videoconferences were held with schools partners in project "Vaccination – Yes Or No", Medical School Dubrovnik and Dental Technical School Belgrade.
   Exchange participants and their hosts then went for old town sightseeing and afterwards on lunch after which they said goodbye to each other with annonuncenment of new exchange in Šibenik

Anamarija Jakelić:
    After coming to school we were warmly welcomed by all the participants in the project.
The students of the medical school in Zadar talked about the history of their school and its dignity and its long-lasting tradition with the students.
  We went to a school tour and the cabinets they used to teach their students of different directions. Assignment was a confirmation of participation in the exchange of students and we went towards the direction of the seafront where we came to Greeting to the sun and we also met other sights of the city of Zadar. Most impressed me with old sister uniforms that were displayed at the entrance of the school.
The impressions of the meeting are very positive and we are looking forward to the reunion.

Gabrijela Jovančević:
    The exchange was welcomed by the cordial representatives of the Ante Kuzmanić Medical School in Zadar. They showed us their teaching space including cabinets for health exercises from different directions. Later we participated in 2 video conferences with Dubrovnik and Belgrade. We agreed on working guidelines and set basic goals and dates for completing individual chapters and making polls.
   Together we visited the city and famous sights such as "Sea Organ" and "Greetings to the Sun". We walked through the Forum and visited the classical gymnasium. After a full day's work we went to lunch. I most liked the responsibility and the creation of memories with the new society and I look forward to further cooperation. :)

Petar Uroda:
    On exchange of students in the T-medica project I got new acquaintances and met the Ante Kuzmanić Medical School and Zadar landmarks. I am delighted with the hospitality and hospitality of the host and I look forward to further work.

   In a pleasant summer atmosphere, within the international project "E-medica", from 19-21.9.2018. a visit was made to four medical schools in the Republic of Croatia, the capital of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade, and the Dental school and Pharmacy Physiotherapy School, which are located in the Zvezdara Municipality.

   On the first working day, the director of the Dental school, Biljana Blagojević Sedlar and the director of the Pharmacy-Physiotherapy School, Biljana Vukosavljević, welcomed all 1st exchange participants, presenting the activity, the peculiarity and the activities of the leading schools.

In the first exchange was:

- School for Nurses Mlinarska from Zagreb, mentor Đurđica Stanešić with students Marija Timko and Gabrijel Džambo
- School for Nurses Vrapče from Zagreb, mentor Aleksandra Vidoša with students Karla Anić and Margaret Bakonji,
- Medical school from Šibenik, director Aleksandra Acalin, coordinator Snježana Žaja and mentor Antonija Žaja with students Nikolina Lugović and Josipa Grcić.
- Secondary Medical School Ante Kuzmanića from Zadar, mentor Linda Bakotić with students Lucija Veršić and Ivona Knežević,
- Dental School from Belgrade, coordinator Maja Vračar and mentors Ana Gajić, Nataša Milanović, Iva Pilipović and Tomislav Alavanja, and psychologist Marijana Peulić with students Anja Marković, Miljana Todorović, Sandra Tomic, Jana Nedeljkovic, Iva Nasovic, Katarina Rankovic and Jovan Komatina,
- Pharmacy-Physiotherapist School from Belgrade, Coordinator Biljana Vasić and mentors, Sanja Vukov, Maja Pavlović and Ivan Pašić with the students Petar Urošević, Marija Nikolić, Ivana Marković, Marina Stepanoski, Nina Đurić, Filip Sedlarević, Tara Veselinović and Branislav Beković.

   The first working day nwas continued by introducing schools through video and conversation, visiting the host school, and after that, the students worked on projects:
"Burn out Syndrome", "Vaccination whether or not", "Innovative therapy in carcinoma treatment" and "Chron's disease".
   Director of the Šibenik Medical School, Aleksandra Acalin, thanked students for hospitality at Belgrade schools and invited students and teachers to be more active in the work, as it turned out that the various problems that students explore have the effect on their future psycho-physical development, which they have to decide on their own mature stances and new knowledge that they are gaining during these projects.
   After the work, in the evening, students and teachers used to learn about and exchange experiences and examples of good practice, but also for Belgrade and a little relaxation in Belgrade's Skadarlija.

    The second day of visit was used to visit the city Zvezdara municipality and the president of the same, Miloš Ignjatović who supported the project and voiced hope that the project will continue to expand. He also stressed that he understands the enthusiasm and the desire of educators to give such projects the utmost attention as they relate to the young and the old, and the issue he deals with describes the necessity of monitoring all changes in society that concern health. The president said he would help the schools in the realization of this project by putting them into an annual distribution plan of municipal funds.
   Đurđica Stanišić, a mentor of the medical school Mlinarska, has drawn attention to the importance of research work for students during which they acquire the predispositions to deal with the scientific-research work that students are doing in the master's studies.
   After a visit to the municipality, guests visited the Star Observatory, where the city council was named. The telescope in the Observatory weighs more than 1.000 kilograms and the telescope lens is roughly 500 ki8lograms.
   After the observatory, teachers and students visited the Museum of Nikola Tesla, where they had a chance to take a 15-minute movie about the life of Nikola Tesla, and then to feel the power of Tesla's finds in her body.
   Thanks to everyone who participated in the exchange, on the wonderful energy, the positive atmosphere, but also the desire for these two days to be unforgettable. Thanks to the founders and supporters of the project "E-medica", we can contribute to increasing the knowledge of our students and teachers, but also the ability to gain some new friendships and new experiences.

Students impressions….

   Student exchange was held from 19. 09 to 22. 09. 2018. in Belgrade, Serbia. Students and mentors participating in the exchange were from School for Nurses Vrapče: Margareta Bakonji, Karla Anić, Aleksandra Vidoša; and from School for Nurses Mlinarska: Gabrijel Džambo, Marija Timko, Đurđica Stanešić.

   The exchange was organized and held by Pharmacy-Physiotherapeutic School Beograd and Dental Technical Belgrade. While we were there, there was antoher student exchange happening from project
“Squeeze Or Show Your Teeth”, “Vaccination – Yes Or No”, “Life With Crohn's Disease” and “Combustion Syndrome At Work”.

   On the first day of the exchange we went and visited Dental Technical School Belgrade, where we were taken around school and shown what a typical student day is like. After that we introduced our schools and exchanged our thoughts with Belgrade students. Then, we went to Pharmacy-Physiotherapeutic School Belgrade where we were also shown their school.

   We started working on a project by having a video call with Medical School Split. We analysed gathered information, realized student activities and agreed on the way we are going to continue this project and present it. After the working part we listened to a presentation about skin care that was held by Eucerin empoyee.
   We spent the afternoon hanging out and sightseeing. We traveled via organized transport to Dedinje. There we visited well known ‘’Kuća cveća’’, where the grave of Josip Broz Tito is located and a museum. We spent the night with students from Belgrade that showed us hidden beauties of Belgrade and took us to ‘’Beograd na vodi’’, where we all got to know each other better.

   On the second day of the exchange we visited ‘’City Hall Zvezdara’’ where we were greeted by a chairman of the township Miloš Ignjatović. Our mentors presented the project E-medica and students shared their experiences with him. After that we visited ‘’Anatomsku opservatoriju Beograd’’ where we listened to a presentation about the institution, its history and the role it has today. After the presentation we were shown one of the telescopes that is now rarely used. Our working part of the day was ended by us visiting a museum ‘’Nikola Tesla’’ where we watched a movie about his life and projects.

   After we said goodbye to our hosts, we visited Kalamengdan where we rode on a train through the park and went sightseeing.

   Student exchange in Belgrade was a wonderful experience. Not only we learned something, but we met a lot of wonderful people and made great friends. We got to know beautiful streets of Belgrade, especially well known ‘’Kneza Mihaila’’ street that shows the dynamic life of Belgrade daily and more so at night.
This was a trip that we are never going to forget, especially by great food.
