Video-conference exchange in the project ''The Life With Crohn's Disease"
(January 24th, 2019 )

On Thursday, January 24th, 2019 as part of the "Life With the Crohn's Disease" project, we had a Skype video-conference. Beside us, mentor Sonja Šare with the coordinator Tanja Serdarević from Secondary Medical School Ante Kuzmanića Zadar, together with mentor Sanja Premec and coordinator Kornelija Kristina Petak from Secondary School Maruševec, were present as well.

During the conference, we were analyzing phases of the project and reflected on the tasks already completed.
In May 2018, on the occasion of the World Day of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, we held the actions, lectures and gatherings on which we participated. Students from Maruševec participated in the public "Days of Blue Iris" for the prevention and fight against colon cancer organized by the ILCO Association from Varaždin. We contacted the Department of Public Health of Varaždin County about the statistics of Crohn's disease.
During the October, we conducted a brief survey among students of first and second classes of general medical nurse who were not in touch with the professional subject yet. After the examination we held a presentation on the subject of Crohn's disease.
The results of the survey were handled by students from the Zadar school. We are currently in the process of creating brochures.
